Дава́йте поговори́м Let's talk

Twelve situations where you will actually speak Russian: meeting people, small talk, shops, family, directions, the phone, the office, health, plans, opinions, your story and formal offices. Each one teaches how to ask and answer, then makes you listen, speak and write.

How a unit works

  1. How to do it: four habits for the situation, such as the answer-detail-question-back pattern.
  2. Ask and answer: the questions you will meet, with natural answers, each with a listen button.
  3. Listen first: hide the dialogue's text, listen, answer three questions, then read it aloud.
  4. Speak: shadow the dialogue, play two role-plays, record yourself and compare.
  5. Write: a short dialogue of your own, saved as you type, with a model to compare.
  6. Checkpoint: rate three can-do statements; finish the unit and earn XP.
