Opinion openers
From careful to firm: four ways to give an opinion.

| По-мо́ему, э́то интере́сно. | In my opinion, it's interesting. |
| Я счита́ю, что учи́ть языки́ поле́зно. | I believe learning languages is useful. |
| Мне ка́жется, что э́то хоро́шая иде́я. | It seems to me that it's a good idea. |
| На мой взгляд, э́то лу́чшая кни́га го́да. | In my view, it's the best book of the year. |
мне ка́жется takes the to-whom form, like мне нра́вится.
Firm or careful
| Russian | Meaning |

| Я уве́рен, что он придёт. | I'm sure he'll come. (a man) |
| Я уве́рена, что всё бу́дет хорошо́. | I'm sure all will be well. (a woman) |
| Мо́жет быть, ты прав. | Maybe you're right. |
