Where you went
Where you went: в for the building, на for the event.

| Мы бы́ли на конце́рте. | We were at a concert. |
| Вчера́ мы бы́ли в Большо́м теа́тре на бале́те. | Yesterday we were at the Bolshoi, at the ballet. |
A building takes в; an event takes на. The Tretyakov is in Moscow, the Hermitage in St Petersburg.

The past of нра́виться agrees with what you liked, not with you.
